Arabic music or Arab music (Arabic: موسيقى عربية; Mūsīqā ʿArabīyya) is the music of the Arab World, including several genres and styles of music ranging from Arabic classical to Arabic pop music and from secular to sacred music.
Arabic music, while independent and very alive, has a long history of interaction with many other regional musical styles and genres. It is an amalgam of the music of the Arabs in theArabian Peninsula and the music of all the peoples that make up the Arab World today. As was the case in other artistic and scientific fields, Arabs translated and developed Greek texts and works of music and mastered the musical theory of the Greeks (i.e. Systema ametabolon, enharmonium, chromatikon, diatonon).[1]

The Lebanese TV station MTV is back after 7 years of absence. After it has been forced to close in 2002, the MTV channel broadcasted again on April 7th, 2009. Gabriel El Murr established MTV, the Lebanese TV channel and it broadcasts from its studios “Studio Vision” in Naccache and Forum de Beyrouth, and broadcasts on all Lebanese territories nationally, internationally and via satellite online 24/24h.
MTV mission statement is “More than a vision”…it has been known for programs like SlShi who are back again re-launching a new group through their program SL Cast.

The Lebanese Broadcasting Corporation has started on 23 August 1985 and it was the first private television station in Lebanon.
LBC has passed through lot of difficulties during the Lebanese war and was forced to relocate its equipment to various areas. Its current location is in Adma, Lebanon.
After a period of time, the Lebanese Broadcasting Corporation launched a satellite channel in April 1996, and it should be mentioned that it deals with one of the best working group and has the best technological equipment, works in a modern scope and it broadcasts 22 hours a day.
Following the launch of the satellite channel in three months, it has begun broadcasting in new countries: LBC Europe, LBC America, and LBC Australia.
Due to its high attractiveness, LBC has succeeded in getting audience from all around the world, the fact that encouraged the station to broadcast abroad.
LBC America attracts the Arab people living in USA, as well as non-Arab audience. The Arabic speaking community in America long to hear Arabic news and Arabic programs, and LBC provides them with a wide variety of programs to satisfy their thirst to the Arab world.
